Ruffles are BIG – Literally

Ruffles are big – literally! But like any fashion trend, be careful what the style is doing to your body shape. Look at the direction of the ruffles; are they horizontal, or vertical? Which part of your body are they drawing attention to and is it a part of your body you want to highlight? Ruffles make a statement, so make sure they’re making the right statement for you. I’ve picked out a selection of tops and skirts.. If you’re nervous of creating ripples with your ruffles,,,, probably best to stick with a statement sleeve! GG x

Style Coaching Party

I held a Style Coaching party at a client’s house on Friday evening. Having fallen down the stairs that morning, I was very stiff and sore and needed a lot of help. Jennie Bateman – you made a fantastic Debbie McGee! Thank you for being such a great host. Age group ranged from 12 to 40-something; they were a lovely crowd. Parties are a great way to introduce people to what Style Coaching can offer.

Upcoming Event – Clockhouse

A Style Coaching evening is a great way of being introduced to the concept of Style Coaching and what it can offer on an individual basis. It is effectively a highly affordable ‘taster session’. I have two of these events coming up over the next month; the first is @The Clockhouse Bar in Coggeshall on 22nd March and the second will be at The Dunmow Maltings in Great Dunmow on 5th April. I’m so looking forward to these evenings. Please pre-book tickets in advance, as places are limited in each case. Here is The Clockhouse poster – Dunmow will be posted in a week or so. GG x

Clockhouse Style Coaching Presentation

My Style Coaching presentation last night at The Clock House in Coggeshall was well received by the ladies who attended. It was much appreciated by me that they ventured out on such an unwelcoming March evening – I hope to see you all again soon. Very special thank yous to Claira, who allowed me to take over The Clockhouse for my event and kept us smiling with her lovely girly pink fizz! Jennie Bateman who gave a lovely glowing testimonial of her personal experience of Style Coaching. And my talented and wonderful daughter Shelley Smith, Director of Rabbit Creative, who filmed the entire evening. Look out for an edited version, coming soon on this page. GG x
